Ghostbusters’ Leslie Jones Is Quite Unhappy Regarding the Upcoming Sequel
Last week that the surprise news surfaced that there’s a brand new Ghostbusters film in route, which can be published in 2020. The very first teaser was also shown. But, there is 1 star attached with the Ghostbusters franchise who isn’t satisfied with this information.
But, it was a commercial disappointment and strategies for a sequel were also canceled.
Within her conversation, Jones made it fairly apparent she wasn’t pleased with the decision to not continue with an all-female Ghostbusters crew. She described it as”like something Trump would perform.”
No official announcement was made concerning the casting of the new film. But, based on The Hollywood Reporter, Reitman is seeking to throw four adolescents in the guide, especially two boys and 2 women. The website also claims that the young stars will team up with all the rest of the members of the first cast–Dan Akyroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson. All three actors also had cameos from the 2016 reboot.
There were originally plans to earn a sequel into the reboot. On the other hand, the film ultimately lost cash, and in a month or two of launch, Feig confessed he could be”very surprised” if a different film with that throw occurred.
But Reitman was supportive of this reboot once the new one was declared. He advised Entertainment Weekly he would”like to see more tales from [the 2016 throw ],” even though his newest movie”will follow the trajectory of the first movie.”
